Christopher FLANNERY
Christopher Flannery is a Director of Swan & Maclaren Pte Ltd, considered Singapore’s oldest architectural practice having been established since 1892. He has more than 20 years’ experience in designing projects -- from retail, hospitality and commercial -- in the UK, China and ASEAN region. A graduate of the Architecture Association London, and a registered UK architect, his focus is development of new markets regionally and Internationally. Swan & Maclaren works with clients and developers regionally on master plan, mixed-use, residential, retail and interior design projects, via its offices in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.
HWANG Yun Hye
Hwang Yun Hye is an assistant professor for master program of landscape architecture in National University of Singapore where she has taught for 8 years. Yun Hye previously worked as a chief design director for public housing landscape projects in Korea for many years where she received several landscape awards from government authorities. Her research speculates on emerging demands of landscapes in the Asian equatorial urban context by exploring dynamic and sustainable landscape management, multifunctional role of urban landscapes beyond quantity of green, and ecological design strategies for high-density cities. Her research works have been published in the areas of urban greening, implemented as constructed projects, and developed as design policy and management guidelines in Singapore.
LAI Huen Poh
Lai Huen Poh has led RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Pte Ltd as Managing Director since 2007, having joined the practice in 1984. He is concurrently Executive Director of Rowsley Ltd, the listed parent company of RSP, since 2013. With more than 40 years of experience, he leads the engineering division and has steered RSP's expansion to overseas markets. He also sits on the boards of the Building and Construction Authority and Singapore Land Authority. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) and a Chartered Engineer (UK). He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield, UK. Lai is also a Director of various companies including Enviro-Hub Holdings Ltd. and Chiwayland International Ltd.
TAN Tiong Cheng
Tan Tiong Cheng is the President of Knight Frank Asia Pacific and Advisor to Knight Frank Singapore from April 2017. Prior to that, Tan was Executive Chairman of Knight Frank Pte Ltd, and has spent more than 35 years with the firm. Before joining Knight Frank, Tan was with the government's Property Tax Department, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and on secondment to the Urban Redevelopment Authority. A Colombo Plan Scholar, Tan graduated from the University of Auckland in 1972 with a Diploma in Urban Valuation. Tan is a Fellow Member of the Association of Property and Facility Managers as well as the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers. Tan is also an Independent Director of Heeton Holdings Ltd, The Straits Trading Co. Ltd and UOL Group Ltd.
YU Shi Ming
Yu Shi Ming is Associate Professor with the National University of Singapore Department of Real Estate where he has taught for more than 35 years. Aside from his academic responsibilities, he has published in the areas of real estate appraisal, housing, urban and facilities management. Yu has presented papers at many international conferences. He has also served as a member of several government organisations in Singapore, including the Housing and Development Board, the Council for Estate Agencies, the Valuation Review Board and the West Coast Town Council.
