Exterior Aesthetics

Since the EC ties its inspiration from Lladro, a luxury Spanish porcelain maker; the design aesthetics draws from the fact that the main motif should display a porcelain maker's attention to minute detail, craftsmanship, as well as the vibrancy of Spanish culture and lifestyle. The colour selection originates from the muted colours of traditional porcelain to potray the classic pieces and the accented colours bright and warm to reflect the Spanish Fiestas. The intricate pattern of the trellises are to mimic the geometric forms that the Lladro brand has carried on from their modern line up of pieces as well as to portray the sophistication of detailing that goes into creating a piece of art.

Much can be said about the common area facilities being the first to break the flatness of the standard e-deck design for a rectangular plot. It all boils down to work from concept stage with the landscape architect to provide a softscape that can work well with a multi-leveled design.
